Nam Theun 2 investors say they will develop extensively the area allocated to the villagers evacuted from the dam constuction site, with the aim of raising the villagers' income three folds within the next ten years, a condition that they have agreed to meet with the Lao government and international financial organiazions.
The investors say they will try to raise the evacuees' standard of living and income from the current annual household income of $460 to $1,200 by 2015.
