Laos Today: Hmong Resistance Leader in Laos Calls for Help from the US

The leader of the Hmong ethnic group living in the jungles of Laos appeals for help from the U.S. government and international organizations, saying his group is in a desperate situation because of continuous encircling and persecution by government forces.

The appeal was made in a call to VOA-Lao Bangkok stringer from the Saysomboun Special Zone. The group leader Mua Tua Ter also acknowledges that his people are the resistance fighters that have been fending off government forces in the jungles.
