Laos presided over the launching of the ASEAN Regional Forum’s official website, called ARFNET, during the one-day annual meeting on the sideline of the 38th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting in Vientiane last month.
The website, funded by the US government, is designed for the purposes of keeping the public informed about the ARF and allowing for even closer consultation and information-sharing between ARF members with the aim of strengthening their cooperation to combat international terrorism.
