08/14/05 World News: Cypriot Jet With 121 Aboard Crashes in Greece


Greek authorities say a commercial airliner from Cyprus with 121 people aboard has crashed north of Athens.
Emergency crews at the crash site say they have found no sign of survivors among the 115 passengers and six crew members.
The Helios Airways Boeing 737 was traveling from Larnaca, Cyprus, to Athens today (Sunday) when it went down in a mountainous area 40 kilometers northeast of the Greek capital.

Lawmakers in Iraq are trying to resolve their differences over the wording of a new constitution, just hours away from a deadline they have set for agreement on the national charter.
