The 38th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting and the joint-meeting of the ASEAN foreign ministers and their dialogue partners, which concluded in Vientiane last week, produced 11 accords, including an agreement to share in the preparations for the three important summits to be held in Malaysia later this year, namely the 11th ASEAN Summit, the 11th ASEAN + 3 Summit, and the first East Asia Summit.
The signed documents includes an agreement to establish an ASEAN Development Fund, and an ASEAN agreement on disaster management and emergency responses.
