Thai authorities maintain they are still determined to deport the Phetchabun Hmongs who do not hold Thai citizenship, although it is not yet clear how they will proceed to do that.
Meanwhile, news reports say authorities have now allowed humanitarian assistances to the Hmong refugees who were evicted from their villages many weeks ago and have since been living on the streets in Phetchabun province.
