Thailand says it will bring up the issue of the more than 6,500 Hmongs in Phetchabun province in this week’s talks with Laos between the defense ministers of the two countries.
For its part, Laos has now indicated it is ready to listen to and hear any information or facts about those Hmongs, who have been living on streets for the last two weeks since their eviction from their villages in Phetchabun.
