Celebrating America’s Independence Day has been for many years a tradition for the Lao-American community of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
This annual event brings together thousands of people from across the States and as far as Canada, France, Thailand and Laos, for a weekend of funs, foods, plays, and socializing.
This year is particularly special because it is the first time in 30 years that more than 20 artists from the Lao communities throughout the States as well as the Carabao band from Thailand came together to perform at an outdoor concert.
