06/13/05 World News: American Human Rights Activist Deported From Laos


Laos has released and deported the last of four Americans detained a week ago during the surrender of about 170 ethnic Hmong. A U.S. embassy spokesman said today (Monday) that Sia Cher Vang, a Hmong-American, was released Saturday and deported to Thailand.
