Lao authorities and media say the four members of the US-based Fact Finding Commission are guilty of interfering in Laos’ internal affairs and creating misunderstanding about its poverty eradication program. Three of the four were released and deported after a two-day detention. The fourth one, a Hmong-American, is still being detained for questioning because of his business in Laos.
