US Senate Approves Two-year Budget
The U.S. Senate has voted 64 to 36 to approve a two-year federal budget that eases automatic spending cuts and averts the threat of another government shutdown. As VOA’s Michael Bowman reports, the measure received bipartisan support - a rarity in an otherwise politically fractured body.
