Lao-American Graphic Designer Holds a Fair Share of Local Advertising Market


Norasack Design is an graphic advertising firm owned by Lao-American Norasack Pathammavong of Virginia. Norasack came to the United States when he was a teenager. After finishing high school, he went to Northern Virginia Community College for an arts and graphic design degree.

Norasack worked for several well-established firms in the Washington Metropolitan Area for many years. He started off as a graphic designer and later become an art director at Johnson Design Group for over one decade prior to establishing his own firm, Norasack Design Studio, in Alexandria, VA.

Norasack has earned his credentials through hard work and his efforts to satisfy his increasing clients. He told VOA:

"I am very proud of what I do. I get to express my ideas through arts, and I get to bring it to life. I satisfy my clients, and because of these ideas, I brought home many awards. Through these credits, and words of mouth, I bring more clients to my company and also a great income to the company as well. Now I can say, I am proud to be the first Laotian-American graphic designer to establish a firm committed to serve the people around the Washington DC Metroplitan area."
