Jeff Seldin

Jeff Seldin serves as VOA’s National Security Correspondent tracking developments in intelligence, counterterrorism, and cyber since March 2015, following a stint covering the Pentagon.  His current focus has been on terror groups such as ISIS and al-Qaida, while also covering U.S. election security, as well as covering developments with Russia, China, North Korea and other global hotspots.

Before coming to VOA, Jeff covered government, politics, business and consumer issues at all-news station WTOP in Washington and at its sister station, Federal News Radio. He has also worked in radio and TV in in Philadelphia, Wilmington, Delaware, and Syracuse, New York.  

Born in New York City, Jeff’s travels have taken him across the U.S., much of Europe, parts of North Africa and the Middle East.
