Venezuela's passage of a new anti-hate law is generating controversy, with critics condemning it as a censorship tool. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro initially pushed for the legislation at the height of the country's anti-government protests this year, saying it represented "a constructive law for peaceful coexistence."
