US: Kurdish Advance on Sinjar Is ‘Promising’

U.S. and coalition war planes have been focusing their fire power in the area of Mount Sinjar in northern Iraq, trying to boost an advance by Kurdish forces on an area held for months by the group known as the Islamic State. The initial success has both Kurdish and American officials hoping the campaign is a sign of things to come. VOA's Jeff Seldin reports from the Pentagon.
