President Barack Obama is visiting Flint, Michigan, to meet with citizens whose water supply has been tainted and see first-hand how federal aid is being used to relieve the crisis. He is scheduled to meet with officials in charge of the food bank that has been crucial in response to the water crisis and address about 1,000 people at a predominantly African-American local high school. Zlatica Hoke reports the visit is said to be in response to a letter from an eight-year-old Flint girl.
