Malyssa: By My Side

This past weekend we entertained our audience with American music, featuring the works of two Asian-American singers.

Amerie Rogers of Washington D.C., whose father is African-American and whose mother is Korean, just released her second album after coming out with the first one in 2002. Here she entertains our audience with "Why Don't We Fall in Love?" and "One Thing."

Malyssa of California also released her first album in 2002. Malyssa says her mother who hails from Thailand's Ubon Rajthani province is of Lao descent. Her father is a native American. Here she sings "By My Side, " and "First Love" from her debut album Reminisce.
